Why I Write Everyday On Medium. And You Too Should

Today is Day 73 and I don’t have an end date to stop writing everyday.

Here’s my very first article on Medium. This was published on October 9th, 2022. And on October 23rd, 2022, I joined Vlad Yashin in his challenge of writing everyday for 14 days. Since then, I didn’t look back.

Writing has been like meditation for me. When I write, I feel confident. I feel calm. I feel happy. I feel content.

But more than these, I believe writing has helped me to express myself in a much more clear and concise way. This is something I always struggled with. One of my ex-managers gave me this feedback — “Aniket when you speak you beat around the bush a little. Try to talk about the essence of what you want to share.” Her point has been deep in my subconscious mind and I knew I wanted to get better at expressing myself.

I also have realized one other thing. Writing everyday has helped me to be disciplined. I remember a number of occasions where I didn’t get time during the entire day to write, but I still was able to steal a few minutes to write even a…
