How I Made $10K on Fiverr With Zero Marketing
And you can too!
In an attempt to diversify my income sources, I set out on a path that a middle-class Indian living in Berlin could have never dreamt of — to leave my full-time job at Zalando and get into freelancing (this was 2022).
It was as scary as being at the edge of the door of an airplane while looking down for a skydive. But once you dive, you realize things aren’t as bad as they looked from above.
While I was enjoying my time off after quitting, a friend came to me and asked if I could help her with her resume.
I have been in product management for 10 years and applied to 72 companies before getting a job offer at Zalando. So I knew a thing or two about resume writing.
So I helped her out.
There were tons of things I proposed. Interestingly, after the edits, her conversion rate of getting interview calls increased 2X.
This is where I knew I could do something in the resume writing space.
I didn’t know Fiverr back then but I came across r/Fiverr on Reddit.
So I went to the platform, began some searches, set up my gig, and luckily got my first order in the first month.
Today I am a Level 2 seller (just one step away from becoming a Top-Rated Seller) with more than 100 orders and $10K in revenue. All with 0$ spent on marketing.
