Maybe not for me

I remember scoring 96/100 in Mathematics, back in 10th standard. I remember saying to myself “I will be a scientist”. I loved math at that time. Right when I got into university, my confidence in math somehow converted into a phobia, owing to some series of events. I left math.

Post then, I tried multiple things — writing CAT (India’s one of the toughest management exams) with an ambition of getting into IIM Ahmedabad (Asia’s top management college), doing a startup in which I failed graciously, switching jobs, even switching professions, tried vlogging, blogging, photography, dance, and multiple smaller initiatives.

All this just to find my “passion”.

Passion. One of the most celebrated words that stand strong alongside the heavyweights — “Love”, “Beautiful and “Happiness”.

Ever since I’ve got a sense of my life, I’ve heard this word umpteen times from everyone. And ever since I’ve got a sense, I’ve tried to find mine. But every time I tried, I failed. I failed at every initiative I mentioned above.

But this birthday, when I decided to chill at my home, instead of traveling somewhere (which has been my ritual for the last few years), I got some time to introspect. And one thing I realized is that I’ve always felt content and happy…
