[Day 10/30] Building 4 Micro Products In 4 Weeks — Which Platform To Choose

Recap: Yesterday (Day 9), I talked about why I want to write an eBook about how I found a job in Europe from India.

Today, I want to focus a bit on which distribution channel I will use to distribute my eBook.

eBooks are everywhere, but it requires some understanding of various distribution channels in order to reach the maximum number of users. By distribution channel, I mean platforms where I can host my eBook and let users download it.

I don’t separately need to do this research. A quick google search (or even a ChatGPT search) can show a nice comparative analysis. Here’s one such link — https://lnkd.in/dvqykGGr.

Most of the comparative blogs on this topic showed Gumroad as the top contender for such a digital product. But very recently they decided to change their category pricing (specific pricing for a specific category as shown in the image) to flat pricing. There was a huge backlash to this price increase and I saw a lot of discussions from fellow creators about Gumroad alternatives. Kajabi is one of them.

In my case, I have already used Gumroad to host my very first eBook. And I have experience with this platform. I only have 3 days to publish my book and it might be a little less to try and experiment with…
